The respectable and the influential NEJM is there on the PDA screen. As they’ve always been the NEJM editors and publishers once agian they are on the forefront of medical publishing and quickly recognized the importance of making their journal available for the PDA screen.
The image below is the side tool bar that is seen when we open the full text page of any article. We can see the third option is the full PDA download.

Not only that but also we can download the whole issue as seen in the capture below

The file format is .pdb whats called open source DOC format and these files can be easily read using the Mobipocket Reader or Isilo Reader (both available for the Palm and Pocket PC devices) or the Palm Reader.
Although we are happy for the articles to be readable on the PDA but we still need more features such as abstracts for non subscribers and more of the online content to be seen on the PDA such as the audio podcasts and the weekly images.
