The ICD Meister has been there for the Palm
and Pocket PC since early in this decade, but
the iPhone version released recently is
considerably different;
First, is not based on iSilo reader, rather it's a
stand-alone app.
Second, it is priced at only $3.99 compared to
the $39.95 of the Palm and Pocket PC versions!
Pros:
- Great categorization and super fast access to
the diagnosis that we want.
- Abbreviations and short descriptions are
included.
- Yearly updated database.
- Dedicated pediatric category.
- Search by disease name, symptoms, most
common diagnosis, or ICD number.
- E codes and V codes.
- Simple and easy to use interface.
- Search results do not appear and do not get
narrowed as we type in the search box.
- No need to highlight the keyword in the search
results.
- Favorites cannot be added without prior search.
- PCodeMeister need to be embedded here.
