pediatric pda application in clinical practice
pediatricians find categorized reviews of handheld software and programs that are useful in bedside pediatrics
this page is about cardiac calculators
The calculators classified in categories where all cardiology related formulas are included even those from general medicine (all of them are also there in medmath), units conversions, and epidemiology.
On the Left we see three examples of those calculators with the same Epocrates user friendly interface and appropriate information page about the formula and references.
Among other tools provided in the black box (med tools) of Epocrates comes the Cardiomath.
This is collection of cardiac calculators is unabridged with all the formulas that a cardiologist (including pediatric cardiologists) may ever think of.
The tool is not developed by Epocrates, it is developed by Cardiomath and can be downloaded as a stand alone Palm OS product from there, see screenshot.
The Epocrates team should learn from this tool is that they are missing the unit converters in their Essentials package as there are only cardiology related unit converters incorporated in this collection.
